Skatably was born from a mother's love and a daughter's passion. After years of watching my daughter Whitney skate from age 5 to present day at age 17, I found myself frustrated by the challenges of acquiring figure skating accessories and competition dresses. As an Interior Designer, the artistry of these dresses captivated me, inspiring me to take matters into my own hands. In 2014 I bought a sewing machine and, through determination and creativity, learned to craft stunning custom dresses for competitive figure skaters of all levels.

Skatably was officially established in January of 2023, and brings together the world of figure skating with bespoke, high-quality competition wear. Whitney, my daughter and co-founder, was instrumental in pushing me to start this business. She now works alongside me as our model, studio organizer, sewing machine technician, and dress embellisher. Her innovative spirit led to our unique option for customers to purchase additional fabric to donate to underprivileged skaters, ensuring that financial constraints don't hinder young athletes from competing in style. At Skatably, we're not just creating dresses; we're crafting dreams on ice, one stitch at a time.
